The Turlock Running Club was formed in 1998 as a non-profit organization that contributes to the community while promoting the sport of running in the South Stanislauas County area. In its first few years the club has grown into a social, supportive group with weekly group runs,after- run breakfasts,organized trips,carpooling to races and seasonal celebrations. Although the ability of members varies from the new runner taking their first steps to the seasoned veteran training for their next marathon, we all share in the joy of running and the camaraderie that comes with running as part of a club. Weekly club runs meet at Emanuel Medical Center,825 Delbon Ave.,Turlock Saturdays at 8:00am in the main parking lot. We currently offer 3 and 6 mile routes. Maps and turn by turn directions. Board meetings are held monthly on the first Saturday and are open to all club members. Emanuel Medical Center,in the cafeteria after the club run ~ 9:00am The Turlock Running Club is a member of the Road Runners Club of America. TRC members are also members of RRCA and receive several RRCA membership benefits and services, including the RRCA newsletter,Footnotes.
